I saw two recent examples that struck me as absurd:

A headline on a cover of a magazine promised to tell how we can make earth-friendly love.

Of course this stuff is selling--I think my elementary school celebrated Earth Day eight times per year.

The marriage between consumerism and environmentalism is going to end soon, in my opinion. Consumerism is self-celebration by mankind; extreme environmentalism as practiced by certain groups is a philosophy which pushes man as low as possible in relation to the earth, animals, plants, air.
